Frontier space companies are building entirely new markets in orbit. Execution determines who actually creates them.

Frontier space companies move fast through technical uncertainty, market ambiguity, regulatory complexity, and constant prioritization tradeoffs. The challenge is rarely vision – it’s maintaining focus and execution as complexity grows.

Orbital Roots works with founders and leadership teams to bring structure and momentum at pivotal moments: sharpening priorities, aligning teams on critical milestones, and advancing the path toward customers, partners, and capital.

Polina Shtern founded Orbital Roots to support teams building the next generation of orbital infrastructure – capabilities including in-orbit servicing, in-space manufacturing, and space-for-Earth solutions.

The work is grounded in 15+ years of strategy and operations across global organizations including BlackRock and Wells Fargo, a Master’s in Space Studies from International Space University, and consulting experience with space agencies and emerging companies across space and climate tech.

I welcome conversations with founders navigating critical stages of growth and investors supporting them.
